 Greg Vandehey
Greg Vandehey has been a professional educator for the past fourteen years. The majority of his classroom experience has been teaching sixth grade students English and mathematics. Greg has also served as a school principal with a successful record working with students, parents, and teachers to help maximize learning and academic achievement. Outside the classroom setting, Greg has also coached baseball and basketball at the high school level.
In 2006, Greg was awarded the Herb Kohl Fellowship Award. This is the most prestigious award given to teachers in the state of Wisconsin and very rarely earned by teachers with less than fifteen years experience. The Kohl Fellowship Award is only given to the top 100 preschool through high school teachers who have been selected by a committee of educational experts. He made the list of top ten teachers in the state from a pool of over 80,000 teachers. Greg has also been featured in multiple editions of the published book, Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. This is an accomplishment achieved by less than one percent of the teachers in the United States.
In 1995, Greg earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in Elementary and Middle Level Education with a minor in English instruction. Greg earned his Master of Arts in Education from Viterbo University in 2000. In addition, he also earned a degree in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. This degree has given him the certificate and licensure necessary to be a principal from prekindergarten through high school.

Bob Reinert
Bob graduated from a private college, Upper Iowa University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was a tutor for other college students in Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology. His Master of Education work was completed at Washington State University where he had a teaching assistantship. While at WSU he worked with Dr. Victor P. Dauer, who was known at the time as the Father of Physical Education. Dr. Dauer worked primarily with elementary students. Bob helped him design several units that were then published in one of Dr. Dauer’s books.
Bob continued his education by taking courses at Bemidji State University, Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin. The University of Wisconsin physical education department liked his teaching style and techniques along with his lesson plans and the way he set up his curriculum and units so he was asked to become a supervising teacher. Teachers from around the state would come and sit in on his classes.
Bob’s teaching career spanned 39 years. He taught kindergarten to college students. He enjoyed all levels but really enjoyed the elementary level.
He also coached at the high school. He coached football where the team took first at state, and second at state in Wisconsin. While coaching wrestling in Wisconsin he had 15 state champions and took 4th in the state and second in team competition. He coached wrestling in Iowa and the team took 2nd in the state. He feels that a coach and sports play a huge role in a student’s education. Coaches can be one of the best teachers because of the immediate feedback that is given. He felt very honored when he received awards from students. The awards stated that the he had made a difference in their lives. That is what teaching is all about.
